  Professional Fees My hourly fee is $75.00 for each planned session and $10 for subsequent unplanned sessions. In addition to weekly appointments, I charge this amount due to Malpractice Insurance and for vested interest purposes. Ordinarily the fee would be $150 per session and $25 for subsequent unplanned sessions. However, I am not in this totally for the money, it is Ministry as well. Other services include report writing, telephone conversations lasting longer than 10 minutes, consulting with other professionals with your permission, preparation of records or session summaries, and the time spent performing any other service you may request of me. If you become involved in legal proceedings that require my participation, you will be expected to pay for my professional time, including preparation and transportation costs, even if I am called to testify by another party.   Sessions An evaluation is the first step.  There is an evaluation form that is part of this packet. Whenever possible, the evaluation form should be filled out and returned via (email or in person) 3 days prior to the first session. If this is not possible, the evaluation process could last from 1 to 2 sessions. During this time, a decision can be made if I am the best person to provide the services needed in order to meet counseling session goals. If counseling is begun, I will usually schedule one 45-minute session (one appointment of 45 minutes duration) per week at a time that is  agreed on, although some sessions may be longer or more frequent. My time is very valuable and once an appointment is scheduled, you will be expected to pay $20 unless you provide 24 hours advance notice of cancellation [unless we both agree that you were unable to attend due to circumstances beyond your control]. I will try to find another time to reschedule the appointment.
